Natural Flake graphite 50mesh
is a natural crystalline graphite, which is similar to fish phosphorus and belongs to hexagonal crystal system. It has layered structure. It has good properties of high temperature resistance, conductivity, heat conduction, lubrication, plasticity and acid-base resistance.
Flake graphite is a natural lubricant with a layered structure, rich in resources and cheap in price.
Application Area
50 mesh natural scales are used in the metallurgical industry as high-quality refractory materials and carburizers.
1. Production of refractory products:
✔ Used for refractory materials such as magnesia carbon bricks, aluminum magnesia bricks, graphite crucibles, etc. 50 mesh coarse particle graphite can enhance the density and erosion resistance of the product, while utilizing its thermal conductivity to avoid local overheating and cracking. This type of product is widely used as an inner lining for steel blast furnaces, steelmaking converters, and non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, and can withstand high temperature corrosion above 1500 ℃.
2. Steel/Casting Carbonizer
✔ In the process of steelmaking or casting iron, 50 mesh flake graphite can be used as a carbon additive: by adding graphite particles, the carbon content in the molten steel/iron can be supplemented.
Compared to other carbonization agents, 50 mesh flake graphite has a higher carbon purity (natural flake graphite usually has a fixed carbon content of 85-98%), stable carbonization efficiency, and does not introduce harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus, avoiding metal material brittleness
