Synthetic slag refers to the technology used to mix raw materials in a certain proportion and particle size, heat them below the melting point of the raw materials, sinter them together, and then break them into particle sizes. The main components are CaO-CaF2 based, CaO-Al2O3 based, and CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 based. According to the morphology of refining slag, they mainly include sintering type, pre-melting type, and mixed type.
Sintered calcium aluminate, also known as sintered premelted refining slag, is made by calcining high-quality bauxite in a rotary kiln at 1300 ℃. Simplified slag-making process, no flame, no dust, safe, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly; The selected products are blocky and granular, with uniform composition, fast melting speed, and good flow and spreading performance; Slag aggregate can reduce dust pollution in iron and steel plants, shorten smelting time, improve production efficiency, reduce oxygen enrichment during smelting, and reduce power consumption during refining; No water absorption, no pulverization, no deterioration, convenient for storage and transportation. The curve function of product usage stability over time is almost in a straight line, avoiding many maladaptive phenomena caused by the wavy and serrated curve functions of middle and low-grade products in metallurgical production.

Performance And Usage:
Mainly used for LF furnaces, open hearth furnaces, and converter ladle refining to remove impurities such as sulfur and oxygen from the molten steel, reducing the content of harmful elements and residues in the steel. Suitable for plain carbon steel, high carbon steel, high and low alloy steel
Usage And Dosage :
① Add with the steel flow during tapping or measure the addition at the refining furnace position
② Steel consumption per 5-8 Kg/Ton of Steel.
