Metallurgical Coke Description
Bituminous coal is heated to 950-1050 ℃ under isolated air conditions, and then undergoes stages such as drying, pyrolysis, melting, bonding, solidification, and shrinkage to finally produce coke. This process is called high-temperature coking (high-temperature dry distillation)- Metallurgical Coke.
Metallurgical coke is mainly used in the metallurgical industry.
Metallurgical coke is a general term for blast furnace coke, casting coke, ferroalloy coke, and coke used in non-ferrous metal smelting. Due to the fact that over 90% of metallurgical coke is used for blast furnace ironmaking, blast furnace coke is often referred to as metallurgical coke.
Foundry coke is a type of coke specifically used for melting iron in iron furnaces. Casting coke is the main fuel for melting iron in iron furnaces. Its function is to melt the furnace material and overheat the molten iron, while supporting the material column to maintain its good permeability. Therefore, cast coke should have characteristics such as large block size, low reactivity, low porosity, sufficient impact crushing strength, and low ash and sulfur content.
Product Parameters
Fixed Carbon content 85%, 88%
Xingshi New Materials is an enterprise that integrates production and sales, specializing in various types of petroleum coke, calcined petroleum coke, asphalt coke, graphitized petroleum coke carbonization agent, and powder.
